Brush pen calligraphy is a fun way to write expressively, and with just a little practice, you can make beautiful greeting cards with a personal touch. In this workshop, we will begin with the basics of different types of strokes and how to form each letter of the alphabet. Then we will create a personalized greeting card using the skills we just learned.
This workshop can be themed for a time of year or particular event, for example making holiday cards during the winter holidays, or Valentine’s cards near Valentine’s day.
All materials will be provided and attendees will take home a couple brush pens, a few greeting cards, and a guide sheet to practice more at home. See some samples of student work below!
